VCI films and bags

VCI films have a volatile layer of VCI on both sides to prevent corrosion. When the product is wrapped, the dispersed vapour of the VCI molecules fills the enclosed air space and then, due to the attraction of the metal, covers the surface of the metal, protecting it from the damaging effects of moisture for up to five years. When the package is opened, the molecules on the surface evaporate within two to three hours. The metal part is dry, clean and ready for immediate use.

There are several types of VCI film:
– VCI film as flat wound,
– as pouches,
– as zipped pouches,
– bubble wrap,
– stretch film, hand and machine films and mini films.
