tesa® 4965 Original – double-sided high-transparency PET film tape

TESA® 4965 Original Next Gen is a clear, double-sided industrial mounting tape. This innovative adhesive tape is now produced with 40% less CO₂ emissions thanks to the use of biomass-balanced acrylic monomers and 90% PCR-based PET.
Based on patented and proprietary tesa® 4965 technology, its unique performance is demonstrated by outstanding properties such as versatility, durability and safety. The double-sided industrial mounting tape is able to withstand a wide range of environmental factors such as moisture, UV light and temperatures up to 200°C for limited periods of time. The biomass balanced adhesive acrylic offers excellent adhesion on a variety of surfaces, high tack and good shear strength.

Features of tesa® 4965 Original adhesive tape:

The double-sided, highly transparent tesa® 4965 Original PET film tape is used in a variety of applications, including: assembly of ABS plastic parts for the automotive industry, self-adhesive assembly of rubber or EPDM profiles, decorative moulding and profile assembly in the furniture industry, and use as a battery, lens and touchscreen adapter for electronic devices.
