Rigid films are used on wrapping machines with electromagnetic or manual brakes. The standard width of the film is 500 mm, also available in 750 or 1000 mm widths.

Properties of rigid films

Rigid films replace standard films because they provide more stability to the pallet.
They have a higher punching strength.
The rigid film does not loosen during transport, which prevents friction, scuffing, product damage and pallet spillage.
They ensure a very high stability of the pallet.
Thinner rigid film can be used to replace thicker standard film, reducing the amount of film used.
