The cartons are moved by two side drive belts driven by a single motor, and adjustments for different formats are made via steering wheels. The machine is equipped with 4 wheels with brakes.

The adhesive bases can be used in semi-automatic lines with an operator as well as in automatic lines or with cartoners.
The GEM B52 is available without guards for semi-automatic use or with side guards for insertion into the line.
On the other hand, the B670F and B820F are available with side guards only for use in automatic lines or in combination with F1000 / F2000 / F2008 / F2010 automatic cartoners.

GEM B52 models can also be made in stainless steel.

All GEM series wrapping machines are equipped as standard with sticky heads with safety device for the initial cut of the tape, a mechanism for constant tape pressure on uneven surfaces, a button for adjusting the pressure of the tape rollers, adjustment of the tape cutting force, automatic centring of the tape roller. The noise level during running of conventional polypropylene tape is limited to 73,5 dB.
